Description Ronald Rische 2017-01-30 16:54:44 MST
TPK515 is both a download mode and normal test which doesn't provide a download mode interlock. Some platforms with unique warmstart requirements may experience a regress script failure when the test infrastructure attempts a switch back to download mode to execute the next test procedure.

For example, a particular Intel Pentium M hardware platform required that the watchdog interlock be bypassed via discrete instead of hardware jumper to support warmstart testing. In addition, with the bypass discrete enabled there is a one second delay between warmstarts. So, while the platform was fully testable; the fact that TPK515 is incorrectly re-executed at the end of the test sequence caused the regress script to believe the platform had lost connection. A proper download mode interlock would resolve this situation.
