Description rroffelsen 2021-02-23 15:29:27 MST
Multi-core support was added to the kernel but verification of this feature is incomplete. Therefor, the kernel may not be configured to execute multiple cores.

Workaround:

The kernel must be configured to execute only one core. To ensure this the following must be true:
  - When boot is calling the kernel entry point:
    -- bootInterfaceObject.maxLogicalCoreIndex == 0
    -- logicalCoreIndex == 0
  - platformAttributes numberOfCores == 1 in the registry.
