In kernel-7.2.3.1's ddd.htm, in Table C.1, under "Implementation Specific Registers for the MPC603e" and "Implementation Specific Registers for the MPC7xx", HID0's reset value is listed as 0; under "Implementation Specific Registers for the MPC74xx", its reset value is listed as 0x80000000. However, in 7.2.3.1's deos-boot-software-requirements.htm, in Table 4.2, for all three (MPC603e, MPC7xx, and MPC74xx), the reset value is listed as 0x80000000. Is this an inconsistency?
I've created a 7.2.3 version in Bugzilla and set the version to it. Note that in the 7.5 and greater kernel documentation, there is a single source for register state for both boot SRD and kernel DDD. In the case of 7.6.1 (reviewed) files, the HID0 show a reset value of 0 for all three processors described in comment 0.
