Anti Virus

DDC-I uses TrendMicro for Anti-Virus. By default this includes Real-time Scanning which can interfere with builds since a recently created file may be locked for scanning when attempting to be used in the next step of the build.
To enable exclusions in TrendMicro do the following:
- Double click on the Trend Micro Security Agent icon in the taskbar or right click and select Open Security Agent Console.
- Select Settings
- Expand Exclusions
- Ensure Enable Exclusions is checked
- Ensure Include Trend Micro product folders is checked
- Add additional directories. Recommended settings are:
- c:\cygwin - Local Cygwin installations (maintainer environments)
- c:\dds - Customer specific DDS installations
- c:\OpenArbor - OpenArbor workspaces
- c:\scm - Shared IP repository
- c:\svn - Private IP repository
- Click OK
