Automated Bugzilla Reports Project
As part of the Verification_Ideas#Suggested_Improvements_to_the_New_Process effort, it has become desirable to have automated bugzilla reports sent to managers. This page will be used to coordinate the effort of generating these reports. The following links may be useful when implmenting the reprots:
New Custom Field
A new custom field, Organization, shall be implmented and will default to either DDCI or HI based upon the company of the Reporter.
Reports
In the below, the term Committable shall be defined as a current Priority of: Next Release or Any Upcoming or By Cert (aka not Hold nor TBD).
All reports shall contain the following columns:
- ID
- Product
- Component
- Priority
- Severity
- Impact Assessment
- Summary
- Opened
- Changed
- Organization
It is highly desirable to use the Stagger headers feature in an effort to make the list more compact.
When fully implemented, the reports shall be sent, via e-mail to Bill Cronk and Ole Oest. During implmentation, send the reports to Bill Cronk only.
When fully implemented, the reports shall use a week (e.g., 7d) as their time T.
When fully implemented, the reports shall run on Monday at 6am AZ time.
It is desirable that the reports are directly readable in e-mail (e.g., HTML e-mail format). However, an attachment sent via e-mail (e.g., a PDF) is acceptable.
It is desirable that the reports be sorted, newest to oldest, by the "Opened" field.
New On-Hold
This report shall list all PCRs that have been created scine time T (e.g., in the last 24 hours) with a current Priority of Hold.
Now Committable
This report shall list all PCRs that:
- are older than time T (i.e., created more than 24 hours ago)
- were not Committable at time T (e.g., 24 hours ago)
- are now Committable
Guidance Report
This report will list all PCRs that have a Priority of TBD.
