The primary driver for this release is Chino 653D6: 653 Health Monitor API Release.

Description

This release is a deliverable milestone for a single customer (see below):

Components to Work

Below are the Deos components being worked for this release. Note that, in order to make the release date, all components should "go stable" by 16-MAR-2012.

Phases Are:

  • Hold - on hold
  • Dev - in development
  • Build - can be built from HEAD
  • Test - in test
  • Stable - You are done! All steps (including test report) in the software release howto have been followed.

The Baseline Options Are:

  • Mainline - Will be released to Deos customers who wish to have the latest & greatest features (e.g., WAT/653 capability)
  • Both - The component is compatible with both the mainline and Denali baselines and the same version will ship to both mainline & Denali customers


OA Test: If yes, the component must be tested, in an integrated fashion, with OpenArbor. In other words, the component executes in the "DDS" environment (e.g., makeboot, config tool, etc.).

Relative to Gershwin: none.

Test Summary

All tests produced the results required for the release. Refer to the component test reports for details.

Known Problems

The items below will not be fixed in this release. It should be noted that the below are not new and have shipped in the past (i.e., little to no customer impact).

  • lwip can ship with some existing known problems (see Section 7 Known Problems of the Release Notes).

Integration Testing

At least all of the components with a "Yes" in the "OA Test" Column have been tested in an integrated DDS environment using OA Build 250 or later.
