Deos Connors 19E Release

This release provides updated RTEMS adapter files and documentation.

Description

Note: The candidate distribution was created as a new DDS using all latest stable components via the DDS Build Process.

Components to Work

Below are the Deos components that have been added/updated relative to the prior release. See also the list of FTP server symbolic links.

Known Problems

• These Known Problems are being included as this DDS was created to pull in customer components and only RTEMS Example testing was conducted.
  

• timemap-wat-example does not build, removed from the test workspace PCR:10779

• include files as linked resources in the same folder as the source code file are not supported yet. DDCI_PCR:3662

• The unexpected error "createProcess(Network) returned 0x3E9" was displayed on the Video Stream while running the trasher/worker examples. This is expected due the name of the network process that was running during the example.

• hypdump fails to execute. Error invalid hypstart format PCR:11181

• Platform project fails to build when the Multicore-memory-pools example projects trasher and worker are integrated into the out of the box single core and/or single pool platform.

• Selective Build for folders is not supported in this release of OA. DDCI_PCR:3550

• Cache Trashing not supported by the platform. PCR:10778 PCR:10777

• The expected output "Main Routine Started" is not displayed. PCR:11789

• The unexpected output "Timeout, ensure lwip.config specifies include ioi-socket-transport.lwip.config" and "Timeout, ensure lwip.config specifies enableLoopback" is displayed. PCR:11788

• The Debug test failed, and in trying to reproduce the problem manually, connecting to Status Monitor times out. PCR:11547

• The last 3 createThread are failing with error 6. threadInsufficientRAMForStack. PCR:11790

• Need to add RTEMS documentation to Help Contents list. DDCI_PCR:3712

• 07/22/2019 - The following information is being provided to OAR as part of DDS-connors-deos-deva-20190721. It is being noted here to aide is answering customer inquiries.

• MATH
  • Unified (ppc/arm) - DDC-I Math library does not include log2 and exp2 PCR:11785
  • x86 - DDC-I Math library does not include acosh, atanh, cosh, frexp, ldexp, modf, sinh, exp2, log2 PCR:11786

• RTEMs introspective library - portions of the introspective library (get/set floating pointer registers) were not exercised by the manual GDB/Status monitor testing PCR:11787

• IST - currently not supported with the network stack integrated with an RTEMS DDS. PCR:11788
