Deos Granite Cert Candidate

The release will provide the Granite_Program with the following:

  1. Power-up RAM Test
  2. Performance and thermal register settings as required by Deos kernel
  3. Memory Type Range Register initialization
  4. SCM / SCI disable
  5. Runtime CoreBoot precondition verification

Note: The candidate distribution was created as a new DDS using all latest stable components via the DDS Build Process.

Phases:

  • Dev - In Development

  • Stable - You are done! All steps (including test report) in the Deos Software Release HowTo or OpenArbor Development HowTo have been followed.

Removed Components

As part of the Intel x86 reference platform support realignment provided in DDS, the following meta-package was removed:

fit-pc2

And replaced with:

wade8078

As a side-effect of the above, the following components have been removed from this DDS:

The above was intended, and was performed via PCR 9108

Additional Testing

Ad-hoc testing was done on the components listed above, and prior to the OpenArbor tests documented above. All components that were ad-hoc tested performed as expected. Test reports for these ad-hoc tests are available via the "Test Report" links above.
