Drop3 Hyperstart Selection

The release will provide the Granite_Program with the following:

  1. Deos Boot Hyperstart Image Selection.
  2. Internal PCI Device interrupts.
  3. New default Base Address Register (BAR) setting for Intel i210 Ethernet device.
  4. Increased thread timer accuracy.

Note: The candidate distribution was created as a new DDS using all latest stable components via the DDS Build Process.

Phases:

  • Dev - In Development
  • Test - Component unreleased and ready to test
  • Delta - A Delta baseline must be established
  • Audit - One (or more) SQA Audits must be performed (e.g., a Verification and/or Software Conformity Audit)
  • Stable - You are done! All steps (including test report) in the Deos Software Release HowTo or OpenArbor Development HowTo have been followed.

Who: The person responsible for doing the work associated with the component.

Remarks: Free form text. It must contain the test report when done.

Additional Testing

Ad-hoc testing was done on the components listed above, and prior to the OpenArbor tests documented above. All components that were ad-hoc tested performed as expected. Test reports for these ad-hoc tests are available via the "Test Report" links above.
