Lutefisk Phase4 Deos Release
The primary driver for this release is the Lutefisk Phase 4 Program. This will be their initial release on their APM86290 Serengeti reference board.
For more information on the above please refer to the SOW.
Description
Deos content for this release will come from the Elbert baseline. In addition to updated Deos content, this release will also include an OpenArbor fix: PCR 1849. All other DDS components will be exactly the same as the Gershwin Amber release. Note that the OpenArbor update was built from the same source as Gershwin Amber with the one fixed made for PCR 1849.
Since this is the first release on this customer's program and it involves changes from the Gershwin Amber release to both OpenArbor as well as Deos components, we will be making this release as an integrated DDS install. The current integrated build for this release is available here: \\scorebuild.ddci.com\DDCI_integration\DDS_g20120127_amber_elbert
The table below describes the content of the release.
| Company | Customer | Baseline | CFFS | TDL | Customer Specific | Remarks |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Goodrich | Lutefisk Phase 4 Program | Gershwin Amber Elbert | Yes | Yes | APM86290 BSP |
Components to Work
Below are the Deos components being worked for this release. Note that, in order to make the release date, all components should "go stable" by 30-JAN-2012.
Phases Are:
- Hold - on hold
- Dev - in development
- Build - can be built from HEAD
- Test - in test
- Stable - You are done! All steps (including test report) in the software release howto have been followed.
The Baseline Options Are:
- Elbert - Will be released to Deos customers who need the Elbert baseline (e.g., the 7.10.x Kernel)
- All - The component is compatible with all baselines.
OA Hold:
If yes, the component must be "Stable" before OA testing can be performed. In other words, the component executes in the "DDS" environment (e.g., makeboot, config tool, etc.) and should be present when OA testing is performed.

Removed Components
Relative to Gershwin: none.
Test Summary
All tests produced the results required for the release. Refer to the component test reports for details. Note: the debugger problem reported in the apm-cale Test Report was fixed in OpenArbor under PCR 1849.
Known Problems
Relative to Gershwin: none. However, a problem that also exists in Gershwin Amber was discovered during this round of testing. About 1 out of every 4 attempts to download the TimeMap fails (see PCR 1855). Since this is not a regression (i.e., no worse than what the customer has now) and the work-around is simple enough (i.e., try again), a fix will be deferred until a future release.
Integration Testing
At least all of the components with a "Yes" in the "OA Hold" Column have been tested in an integrated DDS environment using OpenArbor Build 238a.
