Meetings teleconference

Overview

The DDCI http://meetings.ddci.com teleconferencing site has screen share and varous other collaboration capabilities. It is usable by both internal and external users. Many external users have reported an inability to use the site due to firewall and other IT policies at their site.

Quick Reference For Internal Users

1. Using a browser, visit http://meetings.ddci.com
   • Using Google Chrome minimizes the number of times files need to be downloaded.
2. Login using your windows domain username and password, e.g., alarson.
3. Either use one of the existing meetings or the Create+ button on the left to create a meeting:
   1. For name pick some descriptive name, e.g., Meeting A
   2. Use Invitation Only
   3. Create Session
4. Right click on the meeting and select Join.

The first person to join gets to share. When you select an app to share note that it is not really the application that is shared, but the screen area the application currently spans. You can use this feature to drag other applications over that region to share, or you can share your entire desktop.

The participants window can be used to switch who is sharing by selecting the "cartoon cloud" button for the person.

When you exit, you can leave your meeting in existence. Only meetings with participants count against our license limit (currently 3).
