The campus is adjacent to the airport property. There are several entrances along Schoephoester Road. The closest entrance to the front lobby is right across the road from a large, multi-story parking garage on the airport property.

Getting Around Town

Rent a car. All of the rental companies run shuttles to their nearby lots.

This is an extended stay facility. The rooms have a full kitchen with microwave, stove top, and toaster (no toaster oven in my room), flatware, pots/pans, etc. The hotel is set back from the road so is hard to see coming from the north. The entrance is adjacent to the bowling alley. This property is very close to the airport and Hamilton Sundstrand. There is no breakfast service at this property, although they have a communal pantry where a small number of food items can be purchased. I prefer to stock up at the grocery store and make use of the kitchen in the room. There is a small fitness center and indoor pool. There is no daily maid service because it is provided on a weekly basis.

Local Grocery Stores

There's a Stop & Shop on Old County Road, just across Highway 20. Old County Rd. is adjacent to the Candlewood property.

There is also a Geissler's on highway 140, across the Connecticut River on the left. Highway 140 is locally signed as Elm St., and is just north of the Candlewood property. Geissler's is next to a good seafood resturant: Maine Fish Market.
