=== DO-178C Transition is Happening! ===
As part of our daily Deos lives, we are all familiar with our Wiki's "How Tos" link.  Look over there on the left in the "shared ip" box.  Clicking it leads to:
https://deos.ddci.com/scm/Deos/docs/howto/howto-index/howto-index.htm#alphabetical
By end-of-business 2014-June-12, clicking that link will lead to our shiny new DO-178 "C" procedures and standards (checklists).
Here are the proposed work-arounds for objections raised so far:
1) '''I still need to follow DO-178 "B" procedures and checklists'''
We will document the subversion revision prior to the procedure updates.  You can use that label to capture a copy of the DO-178 "B" procedures and checklists within your component's certification archive.  You can then use the cert. archive copy to carry on with your activities.  We recommend you document this detour in your Software Accomplishment Summary.
2) '''I've got two (or more) components that need to keep using DO-178 "B" procedures and checklists.'''
Use the label described above to "fork" the DO-178 "B" procedures and checklists.  Document what you did in your Software Accomplishment Summaries.
3) '''I need to keep using DO-178 "B" AND I need to make improvements / changes to them.'''

DO-178C Transition is Happening!

1) I still need to follow DO-178 "B" procedures and checklists

We will document the subversion revision prior to the procedure updates. You can use that label to capture a copy of the DO-178 "B" procedures and checklists within your component's certification archive. You can then use the cert. archive copy to carry on with your activities. We recommend you document this detour in your Software Accomplishment Summary.

2) I've got two (or more) components that need to keep using DO-178 "B" procedures and checklists.

Use the label described above to "fork" the DO-178 "B" procedures and checklists. Document what you did in your Software Accomplishment Summaries.

3) I need to keep using DO-178 "B" AND I need to make improvements / changes to them.
